Egypt's Twentieth Dynasty

Period from 1189 to 1077 BCE

The Twentieth Dynasty of Egypt, also known as Dynasty XX, was the third and last dynasty of the Ancient Egyptian New Kingdom period. It lasted from 1189 BC to 1077 BC. Notable pharaohs during this dynasty included Ramesses III and Ramesses IX. However, it also marked the decline of Egypt's power and influence in the region, facing external threats and invasions.[1]
