Emile Jansen

Dutch actor

Emile Jansen (21 November 1959 – 18 November 2024) was a Dutch stage, television and movie actor.

Jansen studied at Gymnasium Apeldoorn and afterwards the drama school in Arnhem. In the theatre he played under the direction of Johan Doesburg [nl] in plays by John Steinbeck, Sam Shepard and Justus van Oel [nl].[1] Jansen became most known for playing in the television series like Goede tijden, slechte tijden as detective Huibert Remonder; Zeg 'ns Aaa and Komt een man bij de dokter [nl]. He also played in several movies including Winter in Wartime.[2]

Jansen died on 18 November 2024, at the age of 64.[2]
