Ernest J. Sternglass
American nuclear physicist (1923-2015)
Ernest Joachim Sternglass (September 24, 1923 – February 12, 2015) was an German-American physicist and writer. He was the emeritus professor at the University of Pittsburgh and Director of the Radiation and Public Health Project.

Sternglass was best known for his controversial research on the health risks of low-level radiation from atmospheric testing of nuclear weapons and from nuclear power plants.
Sternglass died in Ithaca, New York from heart failure, aged 91.[1]
