Faith Ringgold
African American painter and sculptor (1930–2024)
Faith Ringgold[1] (born Faith Willi Jones; October 8, 1930[2] – April 13, 2024) was an American painter, writer, mixed media sculptor, and performance artist, best known for her narrative quilts. She was born in New York City.
