Ferruccio Lamborghini Commendatore OMRI (Italian pronunciation: [ferˈruttʃo lamborˈgiːni]; 28 April 1916 – 20 February 1993) was an Italian industrialist. In 1963, he started Lamborghini, a maker of sports cars.

Lamborghini died at the Silvestrini Hospital in Perugia after having a heart attack fifteen days before. He was 76.[2]
