Object history
Deutsch: Die Schrägteilung von Rot und Silber im Schildhaupt erinnert an die Zugehörigkeit des Gemeindegebiets zur Reichsstadt Nürnberg. Die Wappenbilder darunter sind dem Wappen der Herren von Furtenbach entnommen, die von 1531 bis 1813 mit dem Gemeindegebiet eng verbunden waren und sich seit dem 16. Jahrhundert nach Reichenschwand nannten. Sie erbauten das Schloss, von dem noch vier runde Ecktürme erhalten sind sowie die Kirche und das Pfarrhaus.
