Object history
Deutsch: Die Rosette stammt aus dem Konventwappen der Benediktinerabtei Ottobeuren, die seit 1126 im Ort begütert war und Grundherr bis zur Säkularisation 1803 geblieben ist. Daran erinnern außerdem die Farben Gold und Schwarz aus dem Konventwappen. Die goldenen Ähren und die grüne Tingierung stellen den landwirtschaftlichen Charakter der Gemeinde dar. Der Schrägfluss symbolisiert die Lage des Ortes an der Günz.
