Object history
Deutsch: Die Figur des heiligen Nikolaus steht für den Patron der Pfarrkirche in Weiding, die als gemawert chirchen schon im niederbayerischen Herzogsurbar von circa 1300 erwähnt wird. Die Zinnenmauer erinnert an die Burg Frauenstein, die noch im Spätmittelalter Mittelpunkt der Herrschaft bzw. Hofmark Frauenstein war; Weiding war der Hauptort dieser Hofmark.
