Description
Deutsch: St. Michael, die katholische Pfarrkirche der Gemeinde Mettenheim (Landkreis Mühldorf am Inn, Oberbayern). Der barocke Kirchenbau wurde 1720 geweiht. Die Saalkirche besitzt einen Turm mit doppelter Zwiebelhaube auf der Vorderseite und einen halbrunden Chor auf der Rückseite, wo zwei seitliche kleinere Anbauten u.a. die Sakristei aufnehmen. Der prachtvolle Innraum verfolgt gleichfalls konsequent die barocke Formensprache. Der Hochaltar im Chor, zwei Nebenaltäre rechts und links des Chores, eine Kanzel und eine zweistöckige Orgelempore, alle barock gestaltet, bedeuten die Haupteinrichtung.
