Fjällräven (in translation from Swedish — "The Arctic fox") is a Swedish company specialising in clothing and backpacks.

History

The company was founded in 1960 by Åke Nordin.

In 1983, the company was registered on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

In 2012, Fjällräven opened its first store in New York.[1]

In 2013, founder Åke Nordin died at the age of 77.

Fjällräven products strong represented in the Nordic countries. Also company represented in other European countries. As of 2017, Fjällräven products are available in over 40 countries.[2]
