Folding-Fin Aerial Rocket

rocket

The Mk4 Folding-Fin Aerial Rocket (FFAR) is a 2.75-inch diameter (70 mm) rocket. It is also called Mighty mouse. United States military aircraft use this rocket. Military aircraft can not guide it after launch. It was made originally as an air-to-air rocket for shooting down enemy bombers from a further distance rather than machine guns and cannons. It is more effective on target rather than machine guns and cannons.[1]
