François Lavoie

Canadian ten-pin bowler

François Lavoie (born February 27, 1993) is a Canadian professional ten-pin bowler. Lavoie plays for the Canadian national team and is also a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA).

Lavoie is the first and currently only player to bowl a perfect 300 in a televised U.S. Open game in 2016.[1]

While on the PBA Tour, Lavoie has been a six-time champion. This includes the 2016 U.S. Open,[2] 2016 Shark Championship,[3] 2017 Xtra Frame Greater Jonesboro Open,[4] 2019 U.S. Open,[5] 2021 PBA Tournament of Champions,[6] and 2024 PBA/PBA50/PWBA Jonesboro Trios.[7]

Lavoie would play for Team Canada at the 2019 Pan American Games and would win a gold medal in men's doubles with his bowling partner Dan MacLelland.[8]

Lavoie was born in Quebec City, Quebec and lives in Wichita, Kansas.
