Franz Heinzl
Austrian association football player (1892-1922)
Franz Heinzl (13 April 1892 – 16 May 1922) was an Austrian footballer who played as a forward.[1] He made seven appearances for the Austria national team from 1914 to 1917.[2]

Career
changeFranz Heinzl played for Stockerauer SV 07. 1914 he went to Wiener AF. Under Hugo Meisl he made his international debut on 3 May 1914 in a 2-0 win against Hungary. With WAF he won the Austrian championship in his debut season 1913–14. As far as the First World War allowed Franz Heinzl continued to play for the national team and the WAF. In 1915 he became topscorer of the league.
Death
changeA lung disease finally forced him to give up football. He died in May 1922.[3]
