Frederick L. Van Sickle

United States federal judge (1943-2021)

Frederick Leforest Van Sickle (January 31, 1943 – September 2, 2021) was an American politician and lawyer. He was the United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington from 1991 until his death. He was nominated to the court by President George H. W. Bush. He was chief judge from 2000 until 2005. Van Sickle was born in Superior, Wisconsin.

Van Sickle died on September 2, 2021 in Spokane, Washington at the age of 78.[1]
