The French protectorate of Morocco (French: Protectorat français au Maroc; Arabic: الحماية الفرنسية في المغرب), also known as French Morocco, was the French military occupation of a large part of Morocco. It was a colonial regime of France.[1] The protectorate was established 30 March 1912. This regime lasted until 1956.
