Friedrich Brandstetter
Friedrich Brandstetter (29 November 1891 – 7 October 1926) was an Austrian football player. He played for SK Rapid Wien as defender. He also played one match for the Austrian national football team.

Career
changeFritz Brandstetter began his football career with his older brother Josef in 1908 at Rapid Vienna. He was part of the famous Rapid team that won the first Austrian football championship in 1912 under coach Dionys Schönecker. His career came to an abrupt end due to the First World War. Fritz Brandstetter suffered a serious knee injury that no longer allowed him to play football. He died in 1926 of a lung disease. This was also a late consequence of the First World War.
