Gösta Ågren

Finnish poet, film director and translator (1936-2020)

Sven Gösta Ågren (August 3, 1936 – June 24, 2020) was a Finnish author. He won the Finlandia Prize in 1988 for Jär.[1][2] Ågren wrote his works in Swedish.[3] He was known for his left-wing views.[4]

Ågren died on June 24, 2020, aged 83.[5]
