Galerija Centrs

Galerija Centrs is a shopping center in Riga, Latvia. It opened in 1938 and is located in the historic Vecrīga neighborhood. The center spans 29,000 square meters and houses 110 shops.[1][2] Originally known as the Army Economy Store, it underwent major reconstruction in 2006.[3] Galerija Centrs features a historically renovated hall called "Astoria" on the fifth floor. In 2019, it was sold to Baltic Horizon Fund. The center received an award from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in 2008 for its design project.[4]
