Gerald Gardner (scriptwriter)
American scriptwriter and comics writer (1929–2020)
Gerald Clifford Gardner (July 22, 1929 – October 11, 2020)[1] was an American author, scriptwriter, screenwriter, comics writer, story editor and producer. He was active in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.[2][3] He was known for writing the screenplay for the Disney movie The World's Greatest Athlete and the television series Get Smart.
Gardner died October 11, 2020 of lung cancer in Woodland Hills, California, aged 91.[1]
