Gjirokastër District
former geographic subdivision of Albania
The District of Gjirokastër is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania. There are about 56,720[2] people. Many of its people are Greek.[3][4] The capital is Gjirokastër. It is part of Gjirokastër County.
