Glen Brydson
Glenn "Swampy" Brydson (November 7, 1910 – December 9, 1993) was a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger. He played a career total of 8 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for the Montreal Maroons, St. Louis Eagles, New York Rangers and Chicago Black Hawks.

Career change
On February 4, 1931, Brydson was signed by the Montreal Maroons. He played 146 regular season games with the Maroons before he was traded to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Alec Connell on October 22, 1934. He did not play a game with Ottawa and moved with the team when they relocated to become the St. Louis Eagles on September 22, 1934. He played 1 season with the Eagles. Brydson was claimed by the New York Rangers during the Dispersal Draft on October 15, 1935. He played 30 games with the Rangers. On January 26, 1936, the Rangers traded him to the Chicago Black Hawks in exchange for Howie Morenz. After parts of 3 years with the Black Hawks, they traded him to the New Haven Eagles of the International-American Hockey League (IAHL) for cash.[1] He retired from playing professional ice hockey in 1942.
Brydson died on December 9, 1993. He was interred in Park Lawn Cemetery.[2]
