Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is an 2024 American action-adventure science fiction monster movie directed by Adam Wingard. It is a sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) produced by Toho Company Ltd. and Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the alternate sequel in the Legendary's MonsterVerse.

The movie is also the 37th in the Godzilla franchise, the 13th in the King Kong franchise, and the fifth Godzilla movie to be completely produced by a Hollywood studio. Legendary Pictures announced a sequel in March 2022 and that filming would commence later in the year. In May 2022, it was announced that Wingard would return to direct and Dan Stevens cast as the lead. Filming began in July 2022 in Gold Coast, Queensland and finished in November 2022. The film is scheduled to be released on April 12, 2024.
