Gonzague Saint Bris

French journalist and writer (1948-2017)

Gonzague Saint Bris (16 January 1948 – 8 August 2017) was a French award-winning novelist, biographer and journalist.[1][2] He won the 2002 Prix Interallié for Les Vieillards de Brighton.[3] He was the founder of La Forêt des livres, an annual book festival,[3] and the Cabourg Film Festival.[1] He was born in Loches, Indre-et-Loire.

Saint Bris was killed in a car crash on 8 August 2017 in Saint-Hymer, Calvados at the age of 69.[3]
