The Great Russian Encyclopedia (Russian: Большая российская энциклопедия, БРЭ) is a Russian universal encyclopedia. It consists of 35 numbered volumes and the volume "Russia". Encyclopedia contains more than 80 thousand articles.[1][2] The chief editor and chairman of the scientific editorial board is Yuri Osipov. The executive editor is Sergey Kravets. Since 2016, there is an electronic version of the encyclopedia.[3]
