Harold Betters

American musician (1928–2020)

Harold Betters (March 21, 1928 – October 11, 2020) was an American jazz trombone player. His career was based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Betters released nine LPs on Gateway Records, and three LPs for Reprise. He was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. In the 1950s he made a tour with the Ray Charles big band,[1] playing at the Apollo Theatre.

Betters died on October 11, 2020 in Pittsburgh at the age of 92.[1]
