Helen Alexander was a British businesswoman who was the chairman of UBM plc.[1]

In 2016, she was awarded the Legion of Honour. From 2011 to 2017, she served as the Chancellor of the University of Southampton.
Biography
changeHelen Alexander was born in Geneva, Switzerland. Her father Bernard Alexander was a British lawyer who worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Her mother Tania Benckendorff was a Russian. Her maternal grandmother was Moura Budberg who was a suspected double agent for the Britishers.[2]
Helen Alexander did her schooling from St Paul's Girls' School in London. She was graduated from Hertford College, Oxford in 1978.
