simplify

change

I don't think many users think about this, but, pages like these need to be more simplified. These are really the most important pages on the project, as they teach new users how to do things. If they are complex or could be simplified more (which include most/all of the pages) new users using this wiki as a second language will not be very helpful to the project if they don't know what the heck their doing. Thus I think we established users should start simplifying and checking these pages more often for updates (as some wikipedia namespace articles are out of date with the style or policies simple now follows) to make this wiki a better place. :) That is all. :) Happy editing, I-on/talk/book/sand 19:48, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

{{edit semi-protected}} Please remove the last section about protecting the page. This is bad advice. Pages aren't protected just because someone wants them to be protected, but only when there's excessive amounts of vandalism, and that's not relevant to starting a new page. 2601:644:907E:A70:ADC5:14C3:6150:8FCB (talk) 22:39, 2 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
