Hennie Matteman
Hennie Matteman (born 19 December 1955) is a Dutch former judoka. She had three times a podium finish at early European Judo Championships and became two times Dutch natinonal champion.

Judo career
changeShe started with judo around 1965.[1] After competing at the unofficial European Championships in 1974, she won won the bronze medal at the inaugural official female European Judo Championships in the -52kg category at the 1975 European Judo Championships in Munich.[1][2] She also won the bronze medal at the 1976 European Judo Championships. After she didn't compete for almost two years due to pregnancy, she won the silver medal at the 1979 European Judo Championships.[3] Next to those championships she had also ten other international podium achievements between 1973 and 1980, including winning the British Open in London in 1973, the Dutch Open in 1976 and the German Open in 1976. At national championships she had eight podium positions between 1972 and 1981, including becoming national champion in 1972 and 1975.[4]
