Plot
changeIt is about black female mathematicians who worked at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) during the Space Race.
Cast
changeThe movie stars Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson. The movie also stars Octavia Spencer as NASA supervisor and mathematician Dorothy Vaughan and Janelle Monáe as NASA engineer Mary Jackson.
Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge and Glen Powell also star in supporting roles.
Release
changeHidden Figures had a limited release on December 25, 2016, by 20th Century Fox, before going wide in the United States on January 6, 2017. It had strong positive reviews and was named by the National Board of Review as one of the top ten movies of 2016.[4]
