The Highland Games[1] are a traditional Scottish event that celebrate Scottish and Celtic culture through a variety of athletic competitions, traditional music, dance, and social gatherings. Although the games originated in the Scottish Highlands, they are now held worldwide, especially in countries with a Scottish diaspora, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Events often take place annually and draw spectators and competitors from around the globe.[2][3]
