Home invasion

illegal and usually forceful entry to an occupied, private dwelling with intent to commit a violent crime against the occupants

A home invasion is when a criminal illegally goes into someone's home intending to use violence against the people inside. The criminal usually plans to commit assault, murder, rape, robbery or kidnapping.[1]
