Inger Bjørnbakken

Norwegian alpine skier (1933-2021)

Inger Bjørnbakken (28 December 1933 – 13 February 2021) was a Norwegian alpine skier. He was born in Bærum, Norway. She finished tied for sixth place in the women's slalom at the 1956 Winter Olympics. She also finished fourteenth in the giant slalom.[1]

Two years later, Bjørnbakken won the women's slalom at the 1958 World Championships in Bad Gastein.[2] She later finished fourteenth in the 1960 Winter Olympics.[1]

Bjørnbakken died in a fire on 13 February 2021 at the age of 87.[3]
