Inhumans

The Inhumans are a fictional superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They were created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, first appearing in Fantastic Four #45 in 1965. The Inhumans are a race of superhumans with various powers, which are triggered by exposure to the Terrigen Mist, a substance derived from the Terrigen Crystals.

Overview

The Inhumans are descendants of humans who were genetically altered by the Kree, an extraterrestrial race, thousands of years ago.

When Inhumans reach maturity, they undergo a process called Terrigenesis, which exposes them to the Terrigen Mist and unlocks their latent superpowers.
