The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (French: Fédération Équestre Internationale, FEI) is the international governing body of equestrian sports.^[1] It started in 1921.^[2] Its president is Ingmar De Vos [en] since 14 December 2014.^[3] Its headquarters are in Lausanne, Switzerland.^[4]

Disciplines

There are six disciplines (kinds of sports) under FEI:

Reining was under FEI from 2000 to 2021.^[11] Horse racing, polo or other equestrian sports are not under FEI.^[1]
