An interpreter is a person who translates speech in different languages, usually at conferences or other meetings. Also, an interpreter is someone who will translate and communicate with people who find normal speech difficult. usually interpreters they work as self-employed to help organisations and institutions to communicate more effectively and efficiently with their clients who have limited language proficiency (LEP). [1]

An interpreter is also a computer program that runs other programs described in text files. They are different from compilers because they do not make a new file to run the program.
