Interstate 840 (I-840) is a 21.9-mile (35.2 km) auxiliary Interstate Highway of I-40 in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The highway is the northern half of the larger Greensboro Urban Loop beltway around the city of Greensboro. It connects to a lot of other major highways, such as I-40, I-73, I-85, and I-785.
