The Investigations Police of Chile (Spanish: Policia de Investigaciones de Chile, or PDI) is the civil police of Chile. It was founded on 1933. The PDI is one of two Chilean police bodies along with Carabiniers de Chile.[1] In their functions, this institution is the first collaborator of the Public Ministry of Chile in terms of criminalistic Investigations.
