Irena Świderska

Polish athletics competitor

Irena Świderska with married name Krawiec (9 October 1909 - 7 January 1996) was a Polish track and field athlete competing in sprint events, middle distance, long jump and standing long jump. She was a member of AZS Poznań and represented Poland internationally.

Świderska was 14 times national champion. At the Poland national indoor championships she won nineteen medals: five gold, eight silver and six bronze medals. At the national indoor championships she won fourteen medals: nine gold, three silver and two bronze.[1][2][3]

She represented Poland at the 1934 Women's World Games in the 800 metres event and won a silver medal and bronze medal at the 1935 International University Games.[1]
