Irina Bogacheva
opera singer (1939–2019)
Irina Petrovna Bogacheva (Богачёва, Ирина Петровна; 2 March 1939 – 19 September 2019)[1] was a Soviet-born Russian mezzo-soprano. She was a professor of singing at the St Petersburg State Conservatory.[2]
She was a People's Artist of the USSR, recipient of the State Prize of the USSR, State Prize of the Russian Federation, Order For Services to the Fatherland IV Class, and Honorary Citizen of St Petersburg.
