Isaiah Scroll

A scroll of the Book of Isaiah discovered with the Dead Sea Scrolls

The Isaiah Scroll, (also 1Qlsaa; the Great Isaiah Scroll), is one of the Dead Sea Scrolls that were found in Qumran Cave 1.[1] The scroll is written in Hebrew language and contains the entire Book of Isaiah, with small damaged portions.[2] This manuscript is 1000 years older than the oldest Hebrew manuscripts known before the discovery of Dead Sea Scrolls.[2]
