He was U12 European champion in 2006, U14 European Youth Champion in 2008 and U16 European champion in 2010. He was born in Rostov-on-Don.

Bukavshin in September 2011.

Bukavshin died in Tolyatti on 12 January 2016. He was originally thought to have suffered a stroke.[1] Now it is reported that a massive overdose (or poisoning) of Drotaverine caused his death.[2] It is possible that the reports are consistent, because the overdose might have caused the stroke.
