Jack Bannon
American actor (1940–2017)
John James "Jack" Bannon (June 14, 1940 – October 25, 2017) was an American television actor.[1][2] He may be best known for his role as Art Donovan on Lou Grant, a role he played from 1977–82. In 1963, Bannon appeared in the Season 1 episode "Kate's Recipe For Hot Rhubarb" of Petticoat Junction as Roger. In 1969, Bannon appeared again on Petticoat Junction (after his mother died in 1968) appearing as "Buck". He was born in Los Angeles, California.
Bannon was married to actress Ellen Travolta, a retired actress and elder sister of John Travolta, from 1983 until his death in 2017.
Bannon died on October 25, 2017 at his home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at the age of 77.
