Jack Sheldon

American musician

Jack Sheldon (November 30, 1931 – December 27, 2019) was an American bebop and West Coast jazz trumpeter, singer, and actor.[1] He was a trumpet player and the music director on The Merv Griffin Show. His voice was heard on several episodes of the educational music television series Schoolhouse Rock!. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida.

Sheldon died on December 27, 2019 at the age of 88.[2]
