Indian clan

The Jadeja (also spelled Jarejo or Jadam)(Gujarati: Jāḍejā[1]) is a Rajput clan that claim to be descended from the legendary God Krishna.[2][3][4]

Their claim of descent from Lord Krishna, is widely accepted and also accepted in the Indian Gazette by the Indian government.[5] The word "Jadeja" possbily is derived from 'jadum or Jadam'. [6][7]
