Jahn Teigen

Norwegian singer, musician, and comedian (1949–2020)

Jahn Teigen (born Jan Teigen; 27 September 1949 – 24 February 2020) was a Norwegian singer, musician and comedian. He represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest three times, in 1978, 1982 and 1983. He became known due to the result of his 1978 performance in the contest, which won "nul points" (a zero score) for Norway. He was also the lead singer of Popol Ace, before leaving the band to start a solo career.

Teigen was born in Tønsberg. He lived in Sweden later in life. He died on 24 February 2020 in Ystad, southern Sweden, at the age of 70.[1]
