Jake Bugg

English singer-songwriter

Jake Bugg (born 28 February 1994) is an English singer and songwriter. He was born and raised in Nottingham. He was chosen by the BBC to participate in the Glastonbury Festival in 2011.[1] He got a contract with a record label after that.

His first album, Jake Bugg, was released on 15 October 2012. It came top of the charts in the UK[2] and in Scotland.[3] He has published seven singles from his album: "Trouble Town", "Country Song", "Lightning Bolt", "Taste It", "Two Fingers", "Seen It All" and "Broken".[4]

Bugg released his second album Shangri La on 18 November 2013.

Bugg was nominated for "British Breakthrough Act" at the 2013 Brit Awards.[5]

His third album On My One was released on 17 June 2016.
