Jamaal Charles
American football player
Jamaal RaShaad Jones Charles (born December 27, 1986 in Port Arthur, Texas) is an American football former professional running back. He played parts of eleven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, and Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football at the University of Texas, and also ran in track and field there.[1]
Professional career
changeIn the Chiefs' final game of the 2009 season, Charles rushed for 259 yards and two touchdowns against the Denver Broncos. This is the most yards that a Chiefs player has ever rushed for in one game.[2]
On May 1, 2019, Charles signed a one-day contract with the Chiefs and retired from playing professional football.[3]
