Jan Strelau
Polish psychologist (1931–2020)
Jan Strelau (May 30, 1931 – August 3, 2020) was a Polish psychologist. He was born in Free City of Danzig, now Gdańsk, Poland. Strelau was best known for his studies on temperament.
He was professor of psychology at Warsaw University from 1968 to 2001.
In 2001, he became a professor at Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities, where he took the positions of Vice-rector for Research and International Affairs from 2002 to 2010 and Vice-rector for Research from 2010 to 2012. He was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees from 2012 to 2016.
Strelau died in Warsaw on August 3, 2020 at the age of 89.[1]
