Jan Terlouw

Dutch politician, physicist and author

Jan Cornelis Terlouw (born 15 November 1931) is a Dutch politician, physicist and writer. He is a member of the Democrats 66 (D66) party. Terlouw was born in Kamperveen, Netherlands. He was the Deputy Prime Minister and at the same time the Minister of Economic Affairs from 1981 to 1982 during the Dries van Agt ministry.[1] A children's writer, his best known work is Winter in Wartime (Oorlogswinter, 1972).
