Janusz Kupcewicz

Polish association football player (1955–2022)

Janusz Bogdan Kupcewicz (9 December 1955 – 4 July 2022)[1] was a Polish professional footballer. He played as a midfielder.[2] He was seen as one of the best Polish players during his time. He played with the Poland national football team from 1976 to 1983, making twenty appearances. He played for the team during the 1982 World Cup.[3]

Kupcewicz died on 4 July 2022 in Gdańsk, Poland from a stroke caused by diabetes at the age of 66.[4]
